Current President Rich Dill and Jackie Esielionis constitute the Board. Residents with business and technical management skills, interested in the growth and strength of SPACO are invited to contact members to discuss election to the Board.

Rich Dill, President

richRich Dill has over twenty years of technology experience as a Senior Sales Engineer, Product Manager, Program Manager and Technical Evangelist in the high tech market-place. He has worked for such well known companies as Powersoft, Sybase and IBM. He has award winning experience bringing cutting edge products to market and complex technology projects to completion on schedule and within budget.

He is well known in the Shirley Community for his volunteer efforts. As a member of the School Building Committee he was instrumental in making sure the technology in the Shirley Middle School was up to the task of teaching our children in the 21st century while making sure taxpayer money was spent efficiently and economically. As a member of the Finance and Budget Committees he worked to make sure every taxpayer dollar is well spent.

As the Chairman of the Information Technology Board for over a decade he worked with every department in the Town and School System to make sure technology is used to help people do their jobs and taxpayer money was spent wisely. Working with volunteers he has created a technology infrastructure that was favorably reviewed in a 2008 audit by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, Division of Local Services.

What may come as a surprise is his artistic background. While he is known as a technology expert today, he got his start as a writer, director and producer of theater and film. He has produced such classics as the Crucible, Tom Jones and Our Town on stage and has written and directed original films. As a musician he wrote the electronic music score for a modern day adaptation of Shakespeare's Richard III. He was one of the first students selected to participate in a national program for artistically gifted students where he was given the opportunity to work with national artists on the stage and in the recording studio. His involvement with SPACO today allows him to offer his skills and abilities both as a technologist and artist for the benefit of the community.
